Writing Process

Write a paragraph on the writing process.  What are the steps to writing a good paragraph? Be sure your paragraph has a topic sentence, supporting sentences, and a concluding sentence. 

Descriptive Blog

Add your Descriptive Paragraph from Friday's homework here.  Be sure to add vivid adjectives.  Consider the denotations and connotations that come with those words.  Remember to add sensory adjectives:  sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.  Use prepositional phrases of location in your paragraph.  Use at least 3 of the vocabulary words from 159-160. 

A Narrative...

Choose a specific event from your childhood that you consider special or significant.  Why do you still remember this event? You might decide to write about your first day of school, a particularly difficult class or exam, a time when you were called to the principal's office for something you had done, or one of your early birthday parties.  Describe the people and places that are related to the event.  Use vivid language to help your readers imagine that they were actually there with you at the event.  Your goal is to make your readers clearly understand why this event is so special or significant to you.

Write a paragraph on what the best snack foods are.  Be sure to include a topic sentence, one or two strong supporting reasons for each of your choices, and a solid concluding sentence. 

Why Learn English?

About English Language

Will, I think English Language  sometimes an easy,however, most times English is though. My teacher told me about English she said,when you read news and learn new words every day than you make your English very well. I have no idea about the Language before I come in US. So step by step I can learn more and more things. I am glad for my teacher.
